Cleaner Pro is built and provided by Konstantin Terentev ("we," "us," "our"). This policy applies to the Cleaner Pro iOS app and describes how we handle personal information when you use it.
By using Cleaner Pro, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use or share it except as described here.
The core cleaning features of Cleaner Pro — duplicate photo detection, video compression, screenshot cleanup, selfie review, the Private Vault, and contact deduplication — operate entirely on your device.
- Your photos, videos, and contacts are scanned and processed locally on your iPhone.
- This content is never uploaded to our servers and never leaves your device.
- We do not have access to your photo, video, or contact content at any point.
If you choose to connect a Gmail account using the optional Email Cleaner feature, we request limited Google account access to help you organize and clean up your inbox.
What we access
With your explicit Google sign-in consent, the app reads email metadata — sender, subject, date, size, and Gmail category (Promotions, Social, Updates, Forums, Spam) — to group your emails for review. This is used only to display cleaning options inside the app.
What actions the app performs
When you select emails or categories and confirm cleanup, the app moves those emails to your Gmail Trash. We do not permanently delete emails, and we do not compose, send, or read the full body content of your emails as part of this feature.
Where your data is processed and stored
All Gmail data processing happens locally on your device. Email metadata is used only for the duration of your session to render the cleanup screens and is not retained after you close the app or disconnect your account. We do not transmit, upload, or store your Gmail data — including message content, metadata, or attachments — on any server we operate.
Your Google OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored securely in your device's Keychain, protected by iOS. These tokens are never transmitted to our servers or to any third party.
Data retention
Because Gmail data is processed locally and not persisted beyond your active session, there is no server-side retention period. The only data retained on your device is the OAuth token in Keychain, which remains until you disconnect the account or uninstall the app.
How to delete your data / revoke access
You can disconnect your Gmail account at any time from within the app's Settings, which immediately deletes the locally stored token and any cached session data. You can also revoke Cleaner Pro's access directly from your Google Account at any time:
- Visit
myaccount.google.com/permissions - Find "Cleaner Pro" (or "Cleaner") in the list of connected apps
- Select "Remove Access"
Revoking access immediately invalidates the app's ability to reach your Gmail account, and any locally cached token is deleted on the next app launch.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Cleaner Pro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
ⓘ Email Cleaner is optional. If you don't use it, no Gmail account access is requested and none of the above applies to you.
If an error occurs in the app, we may collect diagnostic information through third-party crash and analytics tools, such as your device's IP address, device name, OS version, app configuration, and the time and date of use.
Cleaner Pro uses third-party services for analytics, subscription management, and advertising, which may collect information used to identify your device. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their function and are not permitted to use it for other purposes.
The app itself does not use cookies. Third-party libraries embedded in the app may use cookies or similar identifiers to collect information and improve their services.
We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cleaner Pro does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we delete it immediately. Contact us if you believe this has occurred.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
